Gate has officially launched the TradFi trading section on its web platform, signaling the conclusion of the public beta and finalizing seamless integration across both the app and web interfaces. Gate TradFi is built around a CFD trading model, offering access to traditional financial assets including forex, metals, indices, commodities, and stocks. Users benefit from a unified account and fund structure shared with Gate’s crypto spot and derivatives markets. Leveraging USDT-backed assets, the MT5 trading system, and trading rules modeled after traditional markets, Gate is steadily establishing a comprehensive multi-asset trading gateway that connects crypto and traditional finance.

What Is Gate TradFi?

Gate TradFi is a traditional financial contract for difference (CFD) trading product developed by Gate. It enables users to trade price movements across major global financial markets without owning the underlying assets. Tradable instruments include forex, metals, indices, commodities, and select popular stocks. Users can manage both crypto assets and traditional financial products within a unified account system.

Once the web platform is live, users can seamlessly switch between the app and web interfaces. All fund statuses, positions, and risk control settings remain synchronized, ensuring uninterrupted trading and operational efficiency.

Unified Account Structure Integrates Crypto and Traditional Assets

Gate TradFi utilizes a unified account system. Users do not need to register or open additional accounts; they can access spot, contract, and TradFi trading segments within a single Gate account. This structure reduces the complexity of switching platforms and managing dispersed assets, supporting cross-market asset allocation and integrated trading strategies.

USDT Collateral Mechanism Streamlines Fund Transfers

The TradFi funding system uses USDT as the primary collateral asset. When users transfer USDT to their TradFi sub-account, the system automatically converts it to the internal unit USDx at a 1:1 ratio. No additional conversion or custody fees apply. After enabling permissions, users can directly allocate funds, select trading instruments, and place orders in the TradFi section—lowering barriers to entry for traditional financial markets.

CFD Trading Logic Mirrors Traditional Market Mechanisms

Gate TradFi adopts a CFD structure that closely aligns with traditional financial market practices, including fixed trading hours, market closures, cross-margin mode, and long-short hedging. The platform integrates with the MT5 trading system to ensure stability and real-time performance for pricing, order execution, and risk management.

For leverage, forex, metals, and index products offer up to 500x fixed leverage, while stock CFDs provide 5x fixed leverage. These features are best suited for advanced traders with robust risk management skills.

Trading Volume and Liquidity Show Steady Growth

Since TradFi’s launch, total trading volume has exceeded $20 billion, with single-day highs surpassing $5 billion. This reflects growing market participation and liquidity. Asset coverage is extensive, including gold, silver, NAS100, SPX500, and other major financial instruments, providing unified access to multiple markets on one platform.

Transparent Fee Structure with Competitive Costs

Gate TradFi offers CFD trading fees as low as $0.018 per order. Main trading products use a fixed-rate model, with adjustments available based on VIP level. Overnight fees apply for positions held during market closures, following standard market practices. The fee structure is transparent and cost-competitive within the industry.

Multiple Promotions to Enhance User Engagement

To promote the product and reward users, Gate has launched several exclusive TradFi events. The TradFi launch celebration runs from February 2 to 22, featuring a $150,000 prize pool with rewards including gold and silver. The first phase of the “Gate TradFi Gold Lucky Bag” event distributed 1,152g of gold, and the second phase is coming soon. Additional events will continue to roll out.

Summary

With TradFi’s public beta concluded and both web and app platforms fully deployed, Gate has established a unified trading framework that integrates both crypto and traditional financial assets. From account structure and funding systems to trading mechanisms and asset coverage, Gate is building a scalable, multi-market trading environment. As more asset types and trading tools are introduced, Gate TradFi is set to become a vital bridge between Web3 and traditional finance, supporting long-term, diversified asset allocation and cross-market trading needs.

AI-Native Settlement Layers: How United Stables Is Building the Next Financial Rail

Stablecoins were originally designed as dollar substitutes within exchanges, primarily used for asset pricing and trade settlement. As on-chain financial ecosystems have matured, their role has expanded beyond simple payments to include collateral assets, cross-chain liquidity mediums, and unified settlement units. In particular, as AI systems and automated agents begin to participate directly in economic activity, demand has risen sharply for programmable value units capable of instant settlement. This shift is pushing stablecoins toward the role of foundational financial infrastructure.

The ve(3,3) Flywheel Explained: How AERO Tokenomics Powers Aerodrome’s DeFi Economy

In the competition for DeFi liquidity, high-inflation mining alone is no longer enough to build lasting advantages. Aerodrome applies the ve(3,3) economic model to redesign token emissions, voting mechanisms, and revenue distribution, creating a liquidity flywheel centered on governance and cash flow. How Does PAXG Work? In-Depth Overview of the Physical Gold Tokenization Mechanism

PAXG (Pax Gold) is a tokenized asset backed by physical gold, issued by the fintech company Paxos and traded on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC-20 token. The core concept is to tokenize physical gold on-chain, with each PAXG token representing ownership of a certain amount of gold. Aerodrome Tokenomics: How ve(3,3) Powers Base's Most Profitable DEX

AERO is the native token of Aerodrome Finance, a core decentralized exchange and liquidity protocol in the Base ecosystem. It is primarily used for liquidity incentives and ecosystem operations. veAERO is a governance NFT that users receive by locking AERO, representing both voting power and the right to share protocol revenue. Through a dual track structure of AERO as a utility token and veAERO as a governance credential, Aerodrome separates liquidity usage value from long term governance power, allowing participants to act as liquidity providers, governance decision makers, and revenue sharers within the same system.

How is the price of PAXG determined? Pegging mechanism, trading depth, and influencing factors

PAXG (Pax Gold) is a tokenized asset backed by physical gold reserves, launched by fintech firm Paxos and issued as an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum blockchain. The core concept is to digitally represent real-world gold assets, allowing investors to hold and trade gold via the blockchain network. Because each PAXG token corresponds to a specific quantity of physical gold, its price is theoretically expected to closely track the global gold market.

Hybrid Collateral Stablecoins: Inside United Stables' Stability and Yield Architecture

In the early stages of the crypto market, traditional stablecoins mainly relied on single-reserve or single-collateral models. Their primary focus was price stability and payment convenience, which allowed them to become foundational tools for on-chain trading and capital flows. As the market has entered a more mature financial phase, however, this structure has begun to reveal limitations, including high concentration risk and the difficulty of balancing liquidity with yield. These constraints have driven the evolution toward multi-layer collateral and portfolio-based designs, such as the dual-layer hybrid collateral architecture proposed by United Stables, which seeks to redefine the underlying logic of stable assets.
